How is a typical Six Sigma project team structured?
A: Project level
- Black Belt – lead the project. Provides training and coaching to the team
- Green Belt – Assists Black Belt in analysing and solving issues. Leads Green Belt Projects/Teams
- Master Black belt – coaches Black Belts and Green Belts. Develops key metrics and the strategic direction for the six sigma project
- Yellow and White Belts – function as project team members and work on local problem solving requirements
Executives and Champions who translate the company’s Vision, Mission, Goals, Metrics etc. to implement specific Six Sigma projects and provide overall alignment between the Six Sigma initiative(s) and Organizational strategic direction
Can you provide more information about the ASQ CSSGB Exam?
A: The exam follows a 4-hour, 100 numbers objective-type question pattern, and is conducted twice a year, in June and December by local ASQ sections and international organizations. All exams are open-book, with participants supposed to bring in their own reference materials and calculators.
How much does it cost to take up the ASQ CSSGB certification exam?
A: For ASQ non-members the fee is USD 359. For members the fee is USD 209. Membership fee ranges between USD 28 to USD 143 depending on the membership plan.
What are the eligibility requirements for ASQ’s Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) certification?
A: Work Experience - three years of full-time, paid work experience in one or more areas of the Six Sigma Green Belt Body of Knowledge
Examination –Examinations are graded using a "cut-score" process based on the Modified Angoff procedure. Participants need a score of 550 points out of a possible 750 to be certified
